As a result, StreamHome is now recognized as a certified member of The ADU Specialists Network—and this brings tangible value to the homeowners and investors we serve.

What This Training Covered
Through this program, our team deepened its understanding of:
- Property Eligibility: We now have an upgraded framework for identifying which properties meet ADU-readiness criteria. This is often the first hurdle for homeowners considering an ADU.
- Municipal Regulations: Zoning rules and permitting requirements vary widely. We’ve studied how to interpret and apply regulations across multiple jurisdictions, especially here in Colorado.
- Approval Pathways: Getting an ADU approved isn’t always straightforward. We learned how to guide clients through the entire process—submissions, reviews, corrections, and final approvals—with accuracy and efficiency.
- Valuation and Financing: We examined how ADUs impact property value, what new financing options exist for ADUs, and how to structure ADU investments for long-term gain.
- Design and Build Options: We explored the differences in approach between attached ADUs, detached units, and garage conversions, including permitting, utility planning, and construction logistics, learning next level ADU-specific design enhancements and value adds.
